Corrine, Speech Pathologist | The Communication Clinic

Speech Pathologist

Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Masters Teaching (Primary)

Since beginning her career in 2006, Corinne has worked in various private and government settings in Australia including The Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (ADHC), Hunter New England Area Health and CRS Australia.

Corinne retrained at the University of Newcastle and graduated with a Masters of Teaching (Primary) in 2012. She is an NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accredited practising teacher and worked for the Department of Education for two years before having a break to have her two lovely children.

Catriona convinced Corinne to return to speech pathology and she’s been an invaluable team member since 2016. As well as being a teacher, Corinne is trained in a variety of programs and techniques, including becoming a Hanen Certified instructor, stuttering, Paediatric Feeding, and various treatment approaches for articulation/speech disorders, Key Word Sign and her particular interest areas of literacy and language.

Away from the clinic, Corinne enjoys spending time with her family, having outdoor adventures and discovering nature with her kids. She also loves a good book and recently discovered a passion for cross-stitching in lockdown.
